Livingstone

My name is Livingstone. In my family I have grandparents, uncles and aunts, but none of them have ever attended school. I was born in the Teso District of Kenya. My mother died when I was one year old, and I have never met my father. I have lived with my aunt in the Kibera Slum for most of my life. My aunt is jobless and cannot afford to pay my secondary school fees, so I decided to apply for this sponsorship program because I want to be educated. A secondary education will change my life completely and it will make me an independent man. I would like to be a doctor when I grow up so I can help people who are facing challenges.
