School: Completed high school at Kivaywa Boys High School in 2022

My name is Elijah and I live in the Kibera Slum, Kenya. I was born in Kibera in 2003. I live with my mother and 3 siblings. Sadly, my father passed away when I was younger. My older sister completed primary school in 2016, but she is still at home due to lack of funds to pay for her secondary school education. My mother’s only source of income is the groundnuts she sells on the street in the Kibera Slum.

I dream of becoming a doctor when I grow up.

The Kickstart Project has been fortunate to develop a partnership with the One Heart Foundation - an Australian not-for-profit charity whose focus is to change the future of orphaned and abandoned children living in poverty in Kenya by developing schools and children's eco-villages.

This partnership allows us to provide tax deductible receipts for any donations made towards the Kickstart Project sponsorship program in Kenya.

The Kickstart Project also recognises Aqua Financial Services as a key supporter of the charity and a valued partner in our mission to create a brighter future for children in Kenya.
