Isaac

My name is Isaac and I was born in Langas, Kenya in 2003. I attended a small primary school in the Kibera Slum called St Catherine Children’s Centre. I have one sister and three brothers. My father works as a security guard and my mother does not have consistent employment.

I grew up in the Sambuli Village in Kakamega, attending the local primary and nursery school from 2006 onwards. My family moved to the Kibera Slum in 2015 so I could finish my primary education at St Catherine Children’s Centre, due to financial difficulties in the village.

I would like to become a newspaper editor when I finish school.
