School: Kivaywa Boys High School

George was born in Ebusiratsi, Kenya in 2004. He attended St Catherine Education Centre for Primary school and worked very hard to achieve a mark in his final primary school exams that he would be proud of. George is the oldest of 3 children. He lives with his parents and siblings in a small home in the Kibera Slum. His father works as a carpenter in the slum, but he earns very little and struggles to support the family with the income.

George dreams of becoming an engineer when he finishes school. He also wants to help needy children in the Kibera Slum, so that he can give back to his community.

The Kickstart Project has been fortunate to develop a partnership with the One Heart Foundation - an Australian not-for-profit charity whose focus is to change the future of orphaned and abandoned children living in poverty in Kenya by developing schools and children's eco-villages.

This partnership allows us to provide tax deductible receipts for any donations made towards the Kickstart Project sponsorship program in Kenya.

The Kickstart Project also recognises Aqua Financial Services as a key supporter of the charity and a valued partner in our mission to create a brighter future for children in Kenya.
