Morgan

 

My name is Morgan and I am 14 years old. I attended Jamburi Primary school in Nairobi, and finished my primary school education in 2021. I live with my mother, father, 2 brothers and 2 sisters in a small home in the Kibera Slum, Nairobi. I am the youngest of 5 children and my parents work very hard to support us all as best they can. My mother cannot find work so it is up to my father to support the whole family which he finds very difficult. High school fees are very expensive in Kenya and I know that we cannot afford to pay school fees without a sponsorship.

I dream of becoming a lecturer at a University when I grow up so that I can teach others and support my family to escape the slum.
