William

My name is William and I was born in the Matete Sub County of Kenya in 2004. I became an orphan when I was very young, and have been supported by my Uncle and Aunty ever since. We are a big family of 6 children; 3 boys and 3 girls, all living together in an unfinished 3-bedroom house in the Matete Village. My aunty works as a secretary at the local high school and she is very driven to make sure we all receive a good education. With so many children, my aunty and uncle struggle to pay for our school fees and are often months behind in our fees. I have been sent home from school before because my fees had not been paid.

I dream of joining University to become a lawyer when I am older. I would also like to support other needy children in Kenya, just as I was helped.
