Alex

Alex was born in Eldoret, Western Kenya in 2009. He lives with his uncle and aunt after a difficult start to life. His mother ran away shortly after giving birth to Alex, and his father sadly passed away in when Alex was 4 years old. Although they love him as their own, Alex’s uncle and aunt struggle to afford the rent in their small home, having been evicted on more than one occasion for failing to pay rent.

Without a sponsorship, the prospect of attending secondary school was completely out of reach for Alex.

Alex is extremely determined to achieve a better life for himself and to do this, he dreams of becoming a lawyer.
