Daisy

Daisy was born in the Kibera Slum in 2009. She lives with her parents and 3 older sisters in a single-roomed home in Kibera.

Daisy’s family have suffered significant financial hardships throughout her life, and they have struggled to provide school fees for her older sisters. The challenges have been amplified recently since her father developed swelling in his lower lip, causing pain and concerns for his health.

Despite these challenges, Daisy’s parents work hard, earning the little money they can to support their daughters.

Daisy dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon or a fashion designer – she hasn’t decided yet.
