Larry

Larry was born in Nairobi in 2008. He has two siblings, one older and one younger. Larry’s mother works hard to support the family as a single parent but she has not had stable employment for several years.The lack of income has resulting in Larry’s older singling to drop out of secondary school due to unpaid school fees.

Larry has lived in the Kibera Slum for most of his life but the family had to move to stay with an aunt during COVID as the mother could not find any work and was unable to pay the rent to live in Kibera anymore.

Larry dreams of becoming a lawyer when he finishes school so that he can advocate for the rights of disadvantaged Kenyan children to access quality education.
